At Survivors Spirit Rising, our mission is to empower survivors by creating a foundation for acknowledgement, education, and advocacy. We are committed to recognizing and validating past injustices, providing accessible knowledge and resources, and fostering a culture of compassion, community, and Reconciliation towards healing and systemic change. Through education, support, and community, we aim to create a more just and equitable society where everyone can thrive.

Who We Are
Indigenous Peoples in Canada continue to suffer the impacts of colonization, including the impacts of Residential Schools, the 60s Scoop, missing Indigenous children, MMIWG2S+, ongoing gender-based violence and other colonial policies.
Grounded in Northern Realities & Indigenous Knowledge SSR is led by Indigenous and veteran survivors who have a deep personal and professional understanding of the challenges in the north, including colonial trauma, MMIWG2S+ impacts, and ongoing gender-based violence.

The Reconciliation Speaker Bureau (RSB) connects organizations with powerful Indigenous and non-Indigenous speakers who educate, inspire, and create meaningful impact. Our bureau features dynamic speakers including survivors of the IRS system, those affected by intergenerational trauma, artists, storytellers, and cultural leaders who bring lived experience, professional expertise, and unforgettable presence to every stage.
We work closely with event organizers to match the right voice to the right audience — whether for conferences, corporate gatherings, community events, or educational spaces. At the RSB, it’s not just about booking a speaker. It’s about creating experiences that shift perspectives, spark dialogue, and leave a lasting impression.

Survivor Perspectives Consulting Group Inc (SPCG) has been delivering training since March 2021.
All of our training is designed to
allow for those to carry this knowledge, skills, and abilities to every aspect of their lives, and is taught in a powerful and positive way. Our training audience leaves feeling accountable, and with a clear way ahead.
We are currently the only group, founded by female veterans, providing a proven training program, from the
perspective of survivors, with support from allies.
This organization was created by survivors to help affect positive and sustainable change in high-stress, high-trust organizations worldwide.
